We are looking for students (7th-12 grades) who are located in:
1. Rural areas that, because geographical location, do not have access to private music teachers for their specific instrument.
2. ANY geographical location that, due to financial hardships, do not have access to private music lessons.
Lessons with current conservatory students in New York City will be held weekly at a time agreeable to both student and teacher/mentor via an online video communication application. Mentoring and instruction is available for essentially any musical instrument including piano, guitar, and voice. The service is free for those who are selected for scholarships by the T.R.I.O. selection committee.
The number of scholarship recipients is limited to the amount of funds that has been donated to The T.R.I.O. Project. Should the number of qualified applicants exceed available scholarship funds, the organization will offer lessons to those selected students at the rate of $25 per one-hour lesson if the student would like to participate in the program.

Participants will be selected through careful evaluations by the T.R.I.O. committee. Students will be evaluated based on their performance level as well as level of dedication and enthusiasm.
To apply to The T.R.I.O. Project, fill out and mail in the following information:
- The general application form.
- A letter of recommendation from a professional musician, such as a band/orchestra director or former private teacher, or from another adult who is familiar with your musical talent.
- An audio recording of two musical pieces. The recording should not exceed 10 minutes and it is up to you whether you would like to play with an accompanist. You may upload your recording to YouTube or Drop Box, or you may also mail us a CD recording to our address listed below.
WE ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS ON A ROLLING BASIS, SO APPLY NOW!! Please package and send all application materials in the same envelope, if possible. Recommendations may also be emailed to contact.trioproject@gmail.com . Please put applicant's name in subject line.
